October 8th was Colton's hump day. Yeah.. we are on the downhill side. What a crazy past few weeks. When Colton got the call to Samoa we never thought we would have to worry about such things as a tsunami! He is safe and we look forward to hearing about all his adventures as he serves and helps the people of Samoa rebuild. What a great example he will be to those people as he so selflessly devotes his time to helping them. (here are a few pictures sent from Colton of the tsunami aftermath)
School is well under way! 2 more weeks and the first term will be over with. I lucked out again and have gotten an awesome class. The progress they make is what makes teaching so worthwhile. It also helps to have an amazing team of teachers working right along side me. School for my own kids seems to be going better. We had a rough start but they are starting understand that it's a part of life so let's get through it.
I am horrible at remembering to blog! I think that when you aren't use to doing it, you forget to do it. Happy October all!
